CYZ Series Self-priming Centrifugal Pump
CYZ Series pump is a self-priming centrifugal pump. It has the advantages of simple structure, easy operation and maintenance, stable operation, large displacement, high efficiency, strong self-priming ability and wide application range. It is a kind of load and unload oil pump in boat, can also be used as a sweeping pump. It is also suitable for oil transportation of oil storage devices such as land oil depots and tank trucks. It can also be used to transport sea water, fresh water.
CYZ Series Self-priming Centrifugal Pump
- Self-Priming Capability: One of the defining features of the CYZ series is its self-priming ability. This means it can evacuate air from the inlet pipe, allowing it to start up and pump liquid even when the pump itself isn’t completely filled. This simplifies operation and makes it suitable for situations where pre-filling might be inconvenient or impractical.
- Centrifugal Design: Unlike positive displacement pumps, the CYZ series utilizes a centrifugal impeller to create suction and pressure. The impeller rotates rapidly, flinging liquid outwards towards the pump outlet, generating the necessary force for transfer. This design makes it efficient for handling larger flow rates of thinner liquids.
- Wide Viscosity Range: Although primarily designed for water-thin and moderately viscous liquids, the CYZ series can handle a surprisingly wide viscosity range depending on the specific model. Some models can even handle slightly viscous fluids like light oils or thin slurries.
